Help Identifying Frank Whiting Pattern

As positive this is Frank Whiting but cannot locate the pattern - anyone familiar with this?

You can hardly make our the marking - only one small end is legible so adding an image really will no thelp..

There's a world of difference between their earlier and later marks. Which one is it?

The one with the W in the center in a circle and on both ends 3 little lines
