Foil thin sliver(?), ornate one side, marked on the other - no clue!

Hi, new to the forum! I found an interesting piece metal detecting yesterday. This disc was measured about 1-1/4 in diameter and is foil thin. It has a floral-like design on one side ans has markings on the opposite which read "0.800" and "a.(dash?)s.", possibly a random "6" and "O". Can someone help me figure out what it is and explain the markings? Thank you!

Note that I can't seem to add photos... probably doesn't help!

Hi,

Likely the inner lid of a pocket watchcase.

Thanks Trev! I thought the same and it's nice to have that second opinion! I'm really surprised to have found it not in a million pieces. It's very delicate.

I appreciate the feedback!
