Last of the Victorians

Whomever Phyllis was, she recieved this spoon on 25 December 1900 which was the last Christmas Day celebrated by Queen Victoria. (Certainly a Blue Monday, she would slip away over the next four weeks and on 22 January 1901 the era of the Victorians would cease to be.) Only marked “925 STERLING 1000”, this beaded edge with a single floral tip and a descending central motif, gives us no firm maker or jeweler marks. But perhaps the design might be recognizable enough to place it’s origin with an American shop. TIA
