FSG silver plate ID?

Post by IggyPup »

I can't find this maker anywhere. The set belongs to a friend, and she doesn't know where she got them.
I'm not even completely sure the letters are F, S, and G

The Forbes Silver Plate Company was founded in 1894 as a department of the Meriden Britannia Company for holloware silverplating. Became part of International Silver in 1898. International continued to use this mark at least into the 1930's.

Wow! Thanks.
So I guess that last letter is a P then.
I swear I looked all over your site first.
Great site, BTW. When I got a bunch of silver from my Great Aunt, back before you even had these forums, I found this site to be invaluable.
Thanks again.

I take that back. The last letter must be a C for Co.
