Modern Silver Chain Mark

Any info on the mark is appreciated.

This is a brand new sterling silver 18mm wide x 20in long curb link chain weighing 256.60 grams

It's probably just a manufacturer mark. Sterling chains are made by the 1000's in Italy. Most evey chain you see nowadays is from there.

I figured it was a manufacturer mark as well.

The mark looks like CS. Searching on the net only got me as far as... maybe it stands for the Cosenza Province in Italy?
