Need help with this mark

Post by faststart »

I have an old silver bracelet that has some tiny marks that I can't find on the site. I'm guessing that its German. The first mark looks like possibly a sword with the numbers "835" on the blade. The second mark is "*NIO", not sure if its Coin missing the C. The third mark is unreadable but the shape is pretty clear. Any help will be appreciated. George Kelly

Dutch rather than German. Possibly Schoonhoven 1st half 20th century. John

Thanks for the lead John.

You are right, it is Dutch. Your tip lead me to this page: http://www.verwoerdceramics.com/silver" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I found the marks and the maker, Gebr. Niekerk 1951-1970

Thanks again for the quick response.
