Real silver mark??

Post by Hodrenko »

I'm sorry for uploading so many posts but I can't upload the photographs and I know they have to be seen in the chat. In general I see that all brands of English silverware have two initials. Are there brands with only one initial? I didn't find the silversmith. What do you think of this Shefield silver frame, 1918-19?
Thank you and a thousand apologies again Admins

Hi,

These are a set of plater's marks that we've seen several times on the forum. To my knowledge they are yet to be identified.

I've found these marks on three or four different objects in Italy. To get more clues, it might be helpful to report where the object was found.
