Hello Fellow Listers,
Here are some photo links for pictures of a watch that is apparently European. The purity mark is .935 and there are twin hallmarks which could be a leopard, but bear little resemblance to the much more commonly encountered English, Scottish, or Irish hallmarks.
Inside the watch, the governor mechanism is clearly marked "fast" and "slow," which suggests to me that the watch originated in an English-speaking country.
The watchmaker who cleaned and restored the watch referred to the silver content as "Tiffany" silver. I assume that this is a reference to the purity.
Any thoughts you might have and care to share would be sincerely appreciated.
Yours truly,
James R.

Hello James.
Those marks were used in Switzerland between 1882 and 1934.

What do you all think of the watch itself?
